Pendulum DJ Set / Music.Football

В рамках большого проекта Music.Football 22 июня c многочасовым диджей-сетом выступят классики современного D&B — австралийцы Pendulum, вечеринка пройдет в еще одном клубе холдинга Sagrado Corp. «Известия Hall».

В середине нулевых Pendulum полностью пересмотрели каноны жанров drum & bass. Вслед за другими проповедниками ломаных ритмов, The Prodigy и The Chemical Brothers, они стали активно использовать в своих треках жесткие гитарные риффы, соединив электронную музыку с альтернативным роком и даже heavy metal. В результате этих экспериментов их третий студийный альбом ‘Immersion’ получил статус платинового в Великобритании, а сами Pendulum стали одной из самых востребованных и титулованных команд мира. Правда чуть позже проект был поставлен на паузу: Роб Свайр и Гарет МакГриллен увлеклись электро-хаусом и занимались делами своей сайд-группы Knife Party.

Pendulum вернулся лишь в 2016-м, триумфальным лайвом на главной сцене Ultra Music Festival в Майями. Их шоу по-прежнему пользуются бешеной популярностью, музыканты находятся в отличной творческой форме и готовы активно гастролировать. Подтвердились и слухи о новом альбоме, диск ‘The Reworks’ содержит 13 ремиксов на классические треки Pendulum. В числе их авторов — Moby, Skrillex, Knife Party и DJ Seinfeld. Заявленная дата этого релиза — 29 июня. Однако вполне возможно, что эти треки прозвучат в Москве даже раньше официальной премьеры, в диджей-сете Pendulum в «Известия Hall».

Российскую d&b-сцену на ‘Music.Football 2018’ 22 июня представят Enei, Profit и Subwave.

Алексей Егорченков aka Enei — один из ведущих российских дабстеп/d&b продюсеров и диджеев, хорошо известный даже за пределами нашей страны. Международное признание он получил в 2007-м, после первого же релиза на голландском Fokuz. Сегодня его треки регулярно выходят на британском лейбле Critical Recordings. Диджейский стиль Enei во многом уникален, в его сетах соединяются элементы нейрофанка и футуристического deep drum & bass.

Profit — один из столпов российского d&b-движения, успешный промоутер и талантливый радиоведущий. Его профессиональная карьера стартовала в далеком 1996 году и с тех пор Profit успел выступить практически со всеми мировыми звездами drum & bass — Andy C, Hype, Grooverider, Fabio, Pendulum. В качестве промоутера он устраивал самые востребованные тематические фестивали, Battlefield и World Of Drum & Bass. Его авторское шоу Bassland каждую среду выходит на радио DFM.

Глеб Соловьев, более известный под псевдонимом Subwave — старейший российский d&b диджей и продюсер. В послужном списке Глеба — более 20 виниловых релизов на лейблах Hospital, Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, Technical Itch, Shogun Audio. Работы Subwave поддерживают легендарные люди в электронной музыке – Erol Alkan, Tiga, Hey Today, Proxy, London Electricity, Goldie, а его треки регулярно звучат на BBC Radio One.

This summer Moscow becomes the football capital of the world. However, it won’t be just about football: at the same time Moscow will hold ‘Music. Football 2018’ festival. Super-stars of electronic music will make the tune of the most important football combats for the whole month. Giants of the EDM scene will be providing score for the biggest battles on the pitch through the month. 22nd of June the project will be joined by a new artist and one more club of Sogrado Corp. holding: classics of the modern d&b, Australians Pendulum will perform at Izvestia Hall with many-hours DJ-set.

In the middle of 00s Pendulum has entirely reviewed the rules of drum & bass. Following other preachers of the breaks, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, they started actively using hard guitar riffs in their tracks, uniting electronic music with alternative rock and even heavy metal. As a result of these experiments, their third studio album ‘Immersion’ became platinum in Great Britain, and Pendulum themselves turned to be one of the most demanded and titled teams of the United Kingdom. But a bit later the project was put on hold: Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen got addicted to the electro-house and were developing their side-band Knife Party.

Pendulum came back only in 2016, with a triumphal life on the main of Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Today, musicians are in a great creative shape and ready for active tours. Rumors of a new album release are confirmed, ‘The Reworks’ contains 13 remixes on classic Pendulum tracks. Among their authors - Moby, Skrillex, Knife Party and DJ Seinfeld. Announced release date is 29th of June. But very possible, that these tracks will be performed in Moscow even before the official premiere, during Pendulum DJ set in Izvestia Hall.

Aleksey Egorchenkov aka Enei — one of the leading Russian dubstep/d&b producers and DJs, well known even outside Russia. He has obtained international recognition in 2007 after his first release on the Dutch Fokuz. Today his tracks are regularly released on British label “Critical Recordings”. Enei’s DJ style is unique in many ways, in his sets are gathered elements of neurofunk and futuristic deep drum & bass.

Profit is one of the pivots of the Russian d&b, successful promoter and talented radio-DJ. His professional career started as long ago as in 1996 and ever since Profit managed to play with almost all international d&b stars - Andy C, Hype, Grooverider, Fabio, Pendulum. As promoter he organized the most demanded theme festivals - Battlefield and World Of Drum & Bass. His author show Bassland is on air every Wednesday on DFM radio.

Gleb Soloviev, more known as Subwave, is the oldest Russian d&b DJ and producer. Glebs credentials include more than 20 vinyl releases on labels Hospital,

Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, Technical Itch, Shogun Audio. Subwave’s works are supported by the legends of the electronic music – Erol Alkan, Tiga, Hey Today, Proxy, London Electricity, Goldie, and his tracks are regularly played on BBC Radio One.
