Charly B is exposed to original Reggae music at the early age of 15, during more than one year spent in Jamaica as an exchange student. Overall, he has spent more than 3 years in the reggae island. Being a French national, he sings in Jamaican for the world and also in French for his country. In 2002 Charly.B is the WINNER OF THE SingJay Contest - Best Singer deejay In Geneva (Reggae contest organized BY DJ Postman) In 2003 :He's on tour 3 months in France with Redhemption Sound; a tour that ends at the "Jamaican Sunrise Festival" (Bagnole-sur-Cèze, France). During the beginning of the year 2004, Charly.B has a lot of Studio Recordings. In June 2004, after a lot of studio time, 2 Street albums are RELEASED : "REALITY" (11 TITLES) and "MORE REALITY" (12 TITLES) - [abstracts on www.charlyb.com] During 2005Severly Ill productions (Geneva - Switzerland) organises the Recording of featurings that are released on the same record called THUG STYLE : "Bruk out", Charly.B feat Zumjay "ready for whatever" Chakal feat Alozade, and Nega feat Lumidee . The same year, Charly.B is the WINNER OF THE FIRST PRIZE FOR BEST SINGER/SINGJAY FOR SWITZERLAND (Reggae Swiss Singjay Contest - Giddeon Production) 2006 : Redhemption Sound produces an Album called "Family Affair" released in march 2006 featuring Wakad Don Jahbazz, singer from Martinica. 2007:Charly.B is asked to present a song at the EUROVISION 2007 to represent Switzerland with the song "O Mama". Official Band is the original band of Charly.B and they start touring more and more in Switzerland and Germany. This is a live band composed by Jo, Meditate (Straight Sound) Positive (Unity Sound) Beber, Franklin(6), and the original Jil from the Addis Production. 2008: : Charly.B has touch a lot of shows with international artists such as Capleton, Anthony.B, Glen Washington, Teflon, DeMarco, Kiprich, Cali.P, Ras Charmer, Prince Theo, and has made a tour with Zumjay and Alozade (New Generation Sound - Neecko). 2009:: ALBUM RECORDING AT GEEJAM STUDIO / PORT ANTHONIO JAMAICA PRODUCED BY JON BAKER (president of Island records in the early 90's) AND REGGAE EUROPE.
