Miss Baas, она же Настя Александрина Mi a Miss Baas I came in Bass earthlings! I sing and toast dancehall reggae, I dj and produce bass music. Selecting the hottest from Carribean dancehall, reggae and soca, Latin-American moombaton and tropical bass, UK bassline and dub, US trap and European EDM, I create the sound that's especially designed for mashing up the dancehalls of the World. I originate from Moscow but I sing Jamaican Patois to make my message international: "No borders! Unite all the cultures in one global bass movement!" Behind the project is a professional Moscow-based crew headed by Nastya Alexandrina. Nastya is a flamboyant performer and composer, whose background ranges from singing gospel in American churches in the childhood to voicing the rap hits' choruses and ghostwriting for pop stars in her homeland at the start of her career. A lifetime-fan of dancehall reggae, since 2016 she's been breaking into male-dominated and conservative dancehall and EDM music scenes with a brand new sexy and feminine sound: Miss Baas fuses the heat of the Carribean dancehall with the drive of UK bass thus reincarnating the evergreen reggae vibe into the modern EDM era. While singing in Jamaican Patois, a contemporary international urban lingua franca, Miss Baas delivers the unmistakable message: "Music a de language we all understand".
