I was born In the capital of Afghanistan in Kabul as Mustafa baseQ. At young age I loved Afghan music and the way the music connected with the people in Afghanistan And helped them to survive the war and the problems there. When I was 5 years old we moved to Holland, where I discovered a new world.. In music and culture. At age of 10 I began with Dutch rap. I Wrote simple lyrics and spit them on beats. This way I developed my flow. My artist name is MQ. And it has no special meanings. it is the first letter of my name (Mustafa) and the last letter of my last name(baseQ ) this way You get MQ. At age of 14 I began with Afghan rap, With the influence of Da Jokerz . I began to realize that Afghan rap is more important for me than Dutch rap, because there are allot of Dutch rappers but not so many Afghan rappers. So I wrote some afghan lyrics and to test my skills I dropped a Disstrack to Da jokerz that was called ‘teka Teka’ which was a huge success on mastana.net. With the feedback of my first track I went further with Dari rap and recorded allot of songs. I met a Afghan dj: Dj Roshan who helpt me allot trough my career and my fame. I reached allot of young afghan boys and girls which I am very happy about. In 2007 I worked together with Dj roshan and Wahid bayar On the track ‘Relax’ Which is a New and fresh sound in afghan culture and music. In 2008 I drop my first mixtape Called: ‘Goosh Amaden ‘ which means ‘Welcome’ in Dari
