Этим летом шквал эмоций захлестнет не только футбольные поля, но и клубные танцполы. И всё — благодаря Music.Football 2018; необычному проекту с участием интернациональных звезд электронной сцены. 15 июня в рамках этого фестиваля «Бессонница» принимает у себя техно-форвардов и главных проповедников стиля ‘desert sound’, американский дуэт Bedouin.

Артисты:

Бруклинцы Рами Абусабе и Тамер Малки занимаются необычным делом. Своей музыкой они пытаются «поженить» Восток с Западом; вывести на большие танцполы оригинальные ближневосточные мелодии, придав им актуальный техно-бит. Критики уже подобрали стилю Bedouin соответствующее определение, они называют это ‘desert sound’. Популярность «музыки пустыни» стремительно набирает обороты. Впервые её по-настоящему распробовали на фестивале Burning Man, — Bedouin там частые и дорогие гости. Потом ‘desert sound’ захватил Ибицу, вечеринки WooMooN в пляжном клубе Cova Santa многое сделали для пропаганды этого стиля. С легкой руки Рами и Тамера этим стилем всерьез увлекся и глава CrosstownRebel Дэмиан Лазарус, — релизы Bedouin теперь выходят на этом лейбле. Кстати, последний EP Абусаби и Малки достоин самого пристального внимания. ‘Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun’ — необычный ре-эдит классического трека группы Pink Floyd; нестандартный и крайне увлекательный музыкальный эксперимент.

В 2018-м Bedouin продолжают захватывать мир. Этим летом они уже проводят на Ибице собственные шоу-кейсы, каждое воскресенье их Saga принимает клуб Heart. Похоже, что их версия ‘desert sound’ уже по-настоящему популярна…

This summer the storm of emotions will overwhelm not just football fields, but also dancefloors. And the reason behind is Music.Football 2018, exceptional project with international stars of the electronic stage. On 15th of June within that festival “Bessonitsa” hosts techno-forwards and main adepts of the ‘desertsound’, American duo Bedouin.

Brooklyners Rami Abousabe and Tamer Malki are into an unusual business. With their music they are trying to marry East and West, introducing on the big venues original Middle East tunes,providing them with an up-to-date techno bit. Critics have already chosen a definition to the Bedouin’s style, baptizing it ‘desertsound’. The popularity of that sound is fast gathering popularity. It was first really tasted on BurningMan – Bedouin are always warmly welcomed there. Than ‘desertsound’ took over Ibiza: WooMooN parties in the Cova Santabeach-club made a lot to promulgate this style.

Thanks to Rami and Tamer’sgood grace, this style has seriously interested the leader of CrosstownRebel Damien Lazarus – Bedouin is now released on that label. Bytheway, the latest release of Abousabe and Malki is to be closely overlooked. ‘SetTheControlsForTheHeartOfTheSun’ – is an unusual re-edit of the classical track of PinkFloyd;unstandard and really captivating musical experience.

In 2018 Bedouin carries on conquering the world. This summer they are doing their own showcases on Ibiza, every Sunday their Saga is hosted by Heart club. It seems, that their version of ‘desertsound’ is already truly popular…
