Monogum

Moscow based artist. Was born in '86 in Kiev, Ukraine. Antrakt label's co-founder. Monogum (real name: Roman Vorobyov) was born in the end of 80-s in Kiev, Ukraine. In the middle of 90-s he moved to Russia, where he started the career of musician. In 2006 he debuted as a DJ at the close underground party Fatality. Roman's favorite styles of music are: electro, cold wave, post-punk and techno with brightly sounding space message. Pretty soon Monogum tried himself as organizer of Antrakt parties, which were transformed into music label of the same name. Roman visited Prague (Terminal B, HUS23), Berlin (Paloma, Club Der Visionaere), Moscow (Arma 17, Rodnya, Rabitza, Pravda, Gazgolder). Since 2013 he played in cult club Arma 17 in Undefault duet, with which there were two releases on german imprint of the 31337records. In 2017 Roman came back to Kiev where he joined Pivnich magazine. He regularly takes parts on monthly label-nights in the Closer club. In March he played in Cafe Gallery and Mtkvarze in Tbilisi. Nowadays Roman actively goes on tour and is a participant of Antrakt, the Volks, Pivnich and DeepArt. Roman shared DJ place with: Onur Ozer, Automatic Tasty, Mick Wills, DJ Overdose, Evan Baggs etc.
