Композитор, музыкант и диджей, бывшая жительница СССР, а ныне гражданка прекрасной Франции, Даша Раш (Даша Птицына Фон Селст), как принято, более популярна за рубежом, чем в своем отечестве. Впрочем, профессионалам и гуру электронной музыки имя и творчество Даши давно и хорошо известно. С ней сотрудничают уважаемый диджей Компас-Врубель, русская звезда планетарного масштаба Solar X и сам Ричи Хоутин, трепетно следящий за успехами техно-девушки. Немецкая сцена вообще благоволит Даше, регулярные и частые выступления артистки в Берлине - лишнее тому подтверждение. Занимаясь созданием музыки много лет, Даша закономерно пришла к созданию собственного лейбла звукозаписи --- Fullpanda. Dasha Rush is a Russian-born artist who sees the genre as a starting place, not a destination. She is a respected and well-traveled DJ and live performer, but her work is equally focused away from the dance floor, and sometimes away from the music itself. Combining her activities as a dj and techno producer on her Fullpanda imprint, which founded in 2005, with other multi-artistic collaborations alongside visual artists or dancers. Her recent album for Raster-Noton, Sleepstep, could be a metaphor for her work: "These 16 pieces are transmissions from that state between sleep and wakefulness," said Tony Naylor, a reflection of the in-between zones her music often inhabits. Dubby but intense, brutal but tender, foggy yet clear—Sleepstep was a wonderful mass of contradictions. Not being one thing or the other is vitally important to Rush, which goes hand-in-hand with her strong independent streak. Dasha likes to push the boundaries of contemporary dance music to the limit, encourages experimentation with various musical (and non-musical) forms and assembling into a thoughtful composition and interaction between the media, like her recent audiovisual project named “Antarctic Takt”. Which was premiered at Atonal festival in 2014, following the presentations at Mutek Montreal 2015 or Volt Festival to name a few. In her strange and twisted world the machines are the protagonists of a neo-romanticism, weaved with human dreams.
