Shlømo (Shaun Baron-Carvais)

Shlømo born in Paris in 1988, is currently one of the new figures of French techno scene. He discovers this scene in 2005 with electronica and IDM music, being influenced by Warp, Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada. A few years later, he comes accross warehouse techno parties inspired by Sandwell District, his enthusiasm bringing him to buy his first machines to start producing. In 2013, he creates Taapion Records with AWB and PVNV and releases his first EP : The Harvest. Bit by bit, he is playlisted by Inigo Kennedy, Donato Dozzy, Darko Esser, remixed by Norman Nodge and the French artists Bambounou, Antigone. He also gets signed on Wolfskuil in 2014 and Bright Sounds in 2015. It has been now three years that this gifted producer dedicates himself to live production, such as the onces recently presented at the ADE (where he played alongside artists from PoleGroup, Modularz and Wolfskuil), at Concrete and Club Trax and Vertikal parties at Rex Club. At the crossroad of techno, electronica and original movie soundtracks, the new resident of Concrete composes a deep dancefloor hybrid filled with landscapes of sleep. He is currently preparing an album to be released on Taapion, and EP’S in the next months on Delsin, Singular and Wolfskuil, Darko Esser’s label.
