Сербский диджей и продюсер, издающийся на Planet Rhythm и Perc Trax, владельца собственного лейбла Genesa, где выходит музыка в диапазоне от минимал-техно до псай-транса. Scalameriya [Nikola Grebovic] is a young producer and dj from Kragujevac, Serbia. He belongs to a generation of djs and producers who are currently shaping new forms of electronic music & live performance. Being a producer since he was 13 and being a dj since he was 14, has enabled him to learn and discover different ways of making fresh music & unforgettable moments on the dance floor. Influenced with pure techno he is trying to create his own vision of energy in music with a modern approach. Under his main project “Scalameriya”, he is creating what we call “neo-techno” these days, influenced by machines, mythology, ghosts, monsters, ancient technology & future. Although produced when he was 16, his first release “Atlantis” came out 2 years after on a digital label called Sintegra Music. Soon after, more & more releases followed on various labels. At some point he decided to open his own music label, Genesa Records on which he is supporting newcomers & all the quality artists involved in experimental underground music. The success of Genesa inspired 2 new conceptual ideas and the birth of Yakira Mosa & Wandler Records. Besides his main project, Scalameriya (which means Gadget, Device), Nikola releases under various pseudonyms such as Gronoa, Kanden, Drumatique (w/Hunckie), Dzangrizalo and also under his real name. With more than 30 releases behind him, rising number of international gigs, 3 music labels of his own, charts & plays by famous djs such as: Richie Hawtin, Tony Rohr, Tim Xavier, Nick Muir, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Misjah, Monoloc, Kane Roth, Hertz, Dj Esp, Derek Plaslaiko, Laurent Garnier etc. Nikola continues to experiment on his sound, preparing new releases & perfecting his “live act”, which is besides his dj-sets available since January 2010.
