DJ Steaw

Dj and producer based in Paris, but from Rennes in France, Dj Steaw aka Steaward is extremely impassioned of Black music : from Gospel to Techno, without forgetting House music. In 2005, he starts producing is own music lead by his friend Jean-Pierre Marroti. Essentially inspired by Chicago / Detroit / New York vibes, he signed 7 EPs on Qalomata, Phonogramme, Local Talk and Traxx Underground. In 2013, with his friend from Rennes, Guunter, they decided to launch Rutilance Recordings, which counts 9 EPs, with artists like Ortella, Sunny Galaxy, Janeret and themselves. He started to organized his own « Rutilance Label-Night », which they already knew a huge success, particularly at the Rex Club in Paris. Since few years, he cross many towns in France, in the most confirmed clubs such as Concrete and Rex Club in Paris, the Iboat in Bordeaux or even at the Terminal in Lyon, letting the most impassioned people dancing on his housy and groovy sets, handled like a chief. His carrier opens behind the french borders, and it’s at Tresor, at IPSE in Berlin, at Studio 80 and at the Betoncentrale, in Amsterdam, at Fabric in UK or even in Switzerland, that Dj Steaw keep making live the House music made in France. One Year after Rutilance Recordings debuts, Dj Steaw launched Steaward, a subdivision of Rutilance, which offers a different dimension and a harder side of his productions.
