Poly represents the Russian minimal and micro-house scene and can be found playing her residency at the Saint-Petersburg based club - Stackenschneider. Her sound is seriously sophisticated, raw and real, and she takes many influences from her beloved birthplace and hometown. Saint-Petersburg, known as the cultural capital of Russia, has had much impact on her as a DJ, and it’s also no surprise to find her passions lying with astrophysics as well as music; making the interstellar ride of her mixes make even more sense. Poly’s choices of sound ooze with melancholic serenity; with contrasts of soft and hard, darkness and light; and the emotive blends of color, entwined with minimalism and bounce.
