Zadig

Zadig, он же Сильвен Пельтье, работающий под этим псевдонимом, начинал на рейвах в начале девяностых. Пяти лет хардкора и эйсида хватило, чтобы потерять к подобной массовой музыке всяческий интерес. Зато появился интерес к техно, даже не столько как к музыкальному направлению, сколько как к образу мыслей. В магазине Matos, в котором Сильвен зарабатывал себе на хлеб насущный, произошла знаменательная встреча нашего героя с Матьё Берте, музыкальным эрудитом и независимым саунд-инженером. Из этой дружбы и появились сначала студия, а потом и музыка, совсем скоро ставшая пользоваться популярностью у всех европейских техно-диджеев. У Zadig начинают выходить пластинки, сначала на Plastic rec., Syncrophone и Sino, а потом и на Deeply Rooted диджея Deep. Ну а там уже не за горами и появление собственного лейбла Construct Re-Form, что помогло создать ему собственную прочную экологическую нишу в мире современной электронной музыки. Изначальный состав артистов лейбла: Voiski, Antigone и Birth of Frequency. А чуть позже к ним добавились такие отличные люди, как Dimi Angelis и Jonas Koop. Все прекрасно знакомы завсегдатаям Warehouse, так что очередное выступление Zadig в техно-пятницу в Пропаганде вполне можно уже считать ностальгическим возвращением к корням. Zadig gets into the rave scene in the 90s. He makes his place rapidly into this growing community and stands out as an unavoidable figure of the Norman scene. But five years of mixing Indus, Hardcore or Acid music finally gave him an oppressive sense of being closed in. Moreover, he no longer identifies with this environment and decides to turn to Techno, a much more basic but also wider style of music. Highly influenced by Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Surgeon or the labels Synewave, Lost or Tresor, Sylvain is at a turning point in his career. He then moves to Paris and holds various odd jobs. It is by working at Matos DJ Store , the famous Bastille music store that he meets Mathieu Berthet an independent sound engineer, a record distributor and an expert in electronic music. This encounter turns into a friendship and Zadig regains interest in creating music. He then takes a risk, gets into debt and creates his own home studio with a Juno 106 synthesizer, the TR-808 and TR-909 Rhythm Composers etc… Mathieu Berthet also enables him to be introduced to the label Plastic Rec for the release of his first Detroit-oriented single ‘‘Vision’’. Zadig makes a distribution deal with Syncrophone. That’s the beginning of a nice story with the Record store which releases Dark Nebula in 2010. This record is considered as his first important step in terms of production and enables him to sign with Sino (Technasia’s label). The maxi P.8 takes his career to a new level by offering him international visibilty. Meanwhile, he makes friends with major figures of the Techno and House Parisian music scene such as John Thomas and Dj Deep Didier Allyne. This is in fact with the latter’s label, Deeply Rooted House, that he has just signed his latest maxi ‘’TTRXL’’. Thanks to these encounters and the experience he has gained, Zadig then starts Construct Re-Form, a label on a human scale which was initially created to release his own productions. In 2010, he collaborates with S3A and is playlisted by Marcel Dettman on Friendship Connection (Paname Recordz). This significant success had given him a solid basis to develop his own label. Construct Re-Form almost immediately welcomes 3 talented DJs known as Antigone, Voiski and Birth of Frequency. Zadig then becomes an astute label manager who provides technical advice and, perhaps most importantly, human support to his three protégés. Considering the recent results of the label and its growing recognition, this formula works wonders.
